John W. Wright

John W. Wright, a shareholder and director with McDonald Sanders, brings two decades of business law experience to the firm. He joined McDonald Sanders in 1988.

Mr. Wright’s practice is focused in the areas of commercial litigation, corporate and business entities, and probate, estates and trusts and related tax and fiduciary litigation. He has worked with clients of all sizes, from large corporations and nonprofit organizations to small, privately held firms, as well as and individuals. and well-established organizations. Mr. Wright has represented corporate officers, directors and committee members in business tort and fiduciary litigation, and corporations in large commercial construction disputes. He has also represented parties in the selection, organization, operation, acquisition, sale and merger of business entities. He has counseled and represented numerous corporate and individual fiduciaries in a wide variety of litigation and non-litigation settings involving trusts and estates.

A 1984 graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Mr. Wright earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration. In 1987, he graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law where he was a member and Chief Note Editor of the Oklahoma Law Review. Mr. Wright has been a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association since 1987 and the State Bar of Texas since 1989.
