Robert L. Ginsburg
Robert L. Ginsburg, a shareholder and director with McDonald Sanders, joined the firm following admittance to the State Bar of Texas in 1979. In 1983, he was promoted to shareholder and director of the firm. His years of service at McDonald Sanders, combined with experience and knowledge, have earned him an outstanding reputation among both clients and peers.
A native of Fort Worth, Mr. Ginsburg is versed in the areas of real estate law, banking, corporate transactions, and college and university law. Mr. Ginsburg’s real estate and corporate practice has included the acquisition and development of the corporate campus in north Fort Worth for a FORTUNE 500 company, the acquisition of operating rights over a rail line from Fort Worth to Brownwood on behalf of a short line railroad, and serving as counsel to two of the area’s largest retail malls. Mr. Ginsburg recently represented the shareholders group in acquiring controlling interest in a national bank and the simultaneous acquisition of a branch location from another financial institution. An integral part of his tenure with the firm has included representing a major university on a wide variety of legal matters.
Mr. Ginsburg graduated from The University of Texas at Austin. He earned a law degree from the University of Houston Law Center, where he was an associate editor of the Houston Law Review from 1978 to 1979.
