Stuart B. Lumpkins Jr.
Stuart has experience in a wide variety of both personal injury and commercial litigation. A significant portion of Stuart’s practice involves representing nonsubscribers to workers’ compensation, and Stuart is a frequent speaker at employer conferences on this topic. In addition, Stuart has been representing businesses in resolving conflicts in a wide variety of industries, including manufacturing, franchising, construction, restoration and remediation, to name a few. This representation has covered many legal issues and areas of the law, such as employment, contracts, insurance, trade disputes, collection, noncompete and trade secrets, consumer protection, franchising, probate, real estate valuation and tax litigation, etc. Whether in negotiations or litigation, Stuart uses his varied experiences for the benefit of his clients.
Stuart was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1984. Stuart is board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Personal Injury Trial Law. He is also admitted to practice before U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit, and the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Texas.
Stuart is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Tarrant County Bar Association, and the Christian Legal Society. Stuart is also a Fellow of both the Tarrant County Bar Foundation and the Texas Bar Foundation. He serves on the board of directors for Pregnancy Lifeline and as a trustee for the Edna Pearl Carder Memorial Scholarship Trust.
Stuart was named a Texas Super Lawyer in 2003, 2005 and 2008 by Texas Monthly magazine and to the Fort Worth, Texas magazine: The City’s Magazine Top Attorney List for 2005 and 2007.
